The Cyborgs are the progenitors of the Automatons, having secretly constructed the robotic army during a century of imprisonment on their homeworld, Cyberstan. After the First Galactic War ended in 2084, defeated Cyborgs were confined to the mines of Cyberstan for "rehabilitation" by Super Earth, where they utilized provided robotic aides to build the Automatons in secret. The Cyborgs were effectively liberated and returned to powerwhen the Automatons launched "The Reclamation" in 2184, conquering Cyberstan to free their creators from Super Earth enslavement. Following this event, the Cyborgs revealed themselves on February 9, 2186, and were confirmed to be the source of the Automaton hack, marking their return as a distinct faction after being absent for 100 years.
